I received today the parcel I ordered 3 weeks ago, coming via air mail from Hong-Kong. My brand new macro/wide angle lens was bought at USB Fever online store for a very low price. Living in Europe (in France, exactly), I paid in Euros wich is a very good deal when prices are fixed in dollars 
One of the problem of numeric image cameras is that, with a same focal length, image size is smaller than with film cameras (see explainations here). And specifically on HD flip devices, captured scene is croped top and bottom to obtain a 16:9 aspect ratio. This makes sometimes hard to capture a near scene. When you know that microphone is not very efficient on long distance and that there is no microphone input, the problem becomes crucial.
Il y a quelques semaines j’ai fait l’acquisition d’un camescope de poche Kodak ZI6. Je souhaitais pouvoir capturer facilement et sans m’encombrer des séquences le plus naturellement possible, et si possible de bonne qualité même si c’est pour le web. C’est souvent au cours d’une discussion impromptue ou d’une situation fugace que survient le moment qu’il faut graver sur une carte SD. Et pas toujours facile de faire accepter une caméra, toujours impressionnante.
